| Kitchen Packing |
| Start the preparations to get your kitchen ready for the move |
| 1 - Appliances |
| Firstly, defrost your fridge and freezer, and then make sure your appliances’ doors or lids are taped shut. You will most likely want to keep your kettle and toaster in a separate box as essentials for when you move into your new home. |
| 2. Food Items |
| When moving home you are going to want to minimise the amount of food you have by using up as much food prior to the move. If you have too much food remaining you can always donate to a homeless shelter. Also, it may be worth investing in cool bags for any items from your fridge you want to keep. |
| 3. Crockery |
| When packing crockery, it is essential that you don’t overload the boxes as it can become overly heavy relatively quickly. Make sure to add either bubble wrap, tea towels, or polystyrene. Make sure to put more fragile items on the top and ensure there is cushioning at the top and bottom of the boxes for extra protection. |
